The bedroom is headlined by the full overlay custom cabinetry that Ayr Cabinetry designed and built. The maple wood continues around the base of the bed, creating the sideboards and footboard. The bed itself is topped with a Saatva Lineal king-size mattress, one of the best beds in the industry.
The built-in nightstands and shelves that surround the headboard are made from high-quality maple and finished with a dark brown stain. This contrasts beautifully with the woven tan fabric headboard and cream-colored bedspread. The matching nightstands on either side of the bed each contain two drawers with space on top for some books, decor, and other bedside items. The cabinet over each nightstand contains adjustable shelving to store all that extra bedding or other supplies, which can be quickly concealed behind the doors. The touch latches on all the drawers and doors are a nice addition to the design.
Next to the bed by the window, you’ll find a lovely window seat. The seat provides the perfect place to relax with a book or a quick afternoon nap. Not only does the window seat provide a nice aesthetic, but there are also two large cabinets underneath the seat with lift-up lids providing access to storage space.
